Rick London On Cartooning Since I launched my cartoon business a decade ago, many have asked me how to get into cartooning, or some similar artistic endeavor, especially if, like me, art is not their strongest skill. Before I entered "the trade", I too, was curious about how a number seemed to "sneak in" these so called "glamour-fields" and many were no better artists than me, and I am no Picasso. The Cow Mafia I'm a bovine author. Name is Truman Cowpoke and I write mooder mysteries. I write about the life of cows, violence, and yes, even bovine death. Words cannot express the horror I feel, as a mystery writer of true cow crime while researching the death and destruction that can occur in "greener pastures". Of course there are no cowincidences and anyone who says there are may just be udderly silly and full of b.s. Can Laughter Prevent Aging? Do we really need humor? How important is laughter in our lives? For many years, we knew humor was fun, and laughter made us feel better, but we didn't know the full story. Recent studies at University Of Md. Why People Should Salute The Far Side's Gary Larson....still I like to pontificate about The Far Side because I can only name a few humorists who had a great impact on my life before I launched Londons Times Cartoons. Two were cartoonists and one of them had a very major impact, Gary Larson The others were comedians and actors such as Steve Martin, Mike Myers, Steven Wright, Red Skelton, Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason, Lucy, Rowan & Martin, Peter Sellers, and several dozen others. One other cartoonist was the late great Charles Schulz, and they all influenced me in a different way. It's All Gary Larson's (the Far Side) Fault I was a power-type-of-guy in Washington, D.C. in the mid-1980's. I had a cushy job, and wore nice clothes. I resided near the Smithsonian on Capital Hill, a place I rarely frequented unless company was in from out of town.
